In Nashville Season 3, Christina Aguilera, most recently known for her work as a host on The Voice, will be featured as a guest star. Apparently, she will be bringing a lot of drama in Episode 18, entitled "Nobody Knows but Me."

The episode synopsis reveals that she will be playing the character Jade St. John, who is a major pop star that would like to switch over to country music. "However, she also has a bit of romantic history in Music city. She'll have to face her ex-fiance Jeff Fordham (Oliver Hudson)," states IBTimes.

Recently on the show, Jeff told Layla, played by Aubrey Peeples, that he would like to make a real relationship work with her, but when Jade arrives, Jeff will be forced into the position of working alongside a woman who played a large role in not only his professional, but his personal past as well.

The fact that Jeff has not been able to have a real relationship in years, makes one assume that this relationship did not end well.

In Episode 18, Deacon's family will still be having a hard time dealing with his cancer diagnosis. "Maddie seemed to make progress accepting his diagnosis in the last episode, she'll once again have trouble dealing with the news," writes IBTimes.

The synopsis tells viewers that Deacon's diagnosis is "a secret that weighs heavily on his family." Perhaps Maddie will look to someone outside of the family for consolation.

Meanwhile, Juliette, played by Hayden Panettiere, will be revealing her newborn's name, and learning how to balance being a mother with her music career.
