'Narcos' Season 2 Release News, Netflix Trailer: Pablo Escobar Fights Tooth And Nail To Escape?
Despite all the controversies following Netflix's refusal to work with the Escobar family in giving an accurate rendition of Pablo Escobar's life, it looks like the network is still pushing through with the renewal of "Narcos."
Just recently, the main trailer of "Narcos" season 2 has made its way onto the internet. The second set of new episodes is set to arrive this September.
The explosive video highlights how Pablo Escobar fights tooth and nail to escape the Colombian anti-drug police and the American DEA agents.
"Narcos" season 1 centered on the rise of the legendary Colombian drug kingpin named Pablo Escobar. It also covered the rise of the Medellin Cartel in the 70's, as well as Escobar's run-ins with the law during the course of his drug trade.
The upcoming season offers viewers a glimpse of the drug kingpin's life as he endeavors to continue the Cartel after getting out of prison in the La Catedral. His escape from prison happened in the season 1 finale, after Colombian President Gaviria ordered to kill Escobar and his group while still behind bars.
In season 2, Escobar will not only have to take in hand the Colombian anti-drug establishment and the police officers who are tracking him down, but he will also have to deal with Javier Pena and Steven Murphy, the two DEA agents who are both hot on his trail. Viewers will follow Escobar as he runs for his life, flees bullets and makes run-ins with the police.
"Narcos" season 2 airs on September 2 on Netflix.
