'Narcos' Season 2 Release News: Netflix Drama Ending With Pablo Escobar’s Death, Adam Fierro Quitting Series?

Along with its cancellation issues, Netflix's "Narcos" season 2 will reportedly see Pablo Escobar's death, as per recent spoilers.

According to Christian Today, Escobar is set to meet his demise in "Narcos" season 2. As per the publication, the plot point is close to the conclusion of the first season, at a point in time when the character escaped from the prison and in real life.

It has been added that show producer Eric Newman was firm to mirror the show storyline to Escobar's life; thus, it is highly probable that fans will see the character's death in the series, just like the real Escobar's death 18 months following his escape in real life.

In other news, "Narcos" is reportedly not going to have a full-length season 2, according to Crossmap. As per the publication, "Nacros" showrunner Adam Fierro had opted to leave the project, since he already accomplished the terms of the contract he had signed to.

Fierro will reportedly step down from "Narcos" after his early work on Season 2, in addition to the show's problem on in storyline, which they had already approached during the reign of season 1.

It is not the first time "Nacros" has left by its showrunner, as it was also left by its first creator Brancato in April 2015 for "greener pastures" at ABC Studios. Brancato reportedly worked halfway through the production process of the first season and was credited as co-creator along with Bernard and Miro.

"Narcos" season 1 aired on Aug. 28, 2015 and season 2 is assumed to premiere in August this year.
