MWC 2015 Preview: Sony Xperia Z4, Samsung Galaxy S6, Microsoft Lumia 1330, HTC Hima, Huawei Ascend Mate 7

With less than a month to go for the much anticipated Mobile World Congress 2015 in Barcelona, tech enthusiasts are eagerly waiting to see what the leading tech manufacturers from across the globe have in store for them at this mega event. Similarly, top mobile brands are also waiting for the MWC 2015 to showcase as well as launch their upcoming devices.

According to Christian Today, Microsoft, Sony, Samsung, HTC and Huawei are among the top tech manufacturers which will be unveiling their flagship smartphones during their scheduled press meets at the MWC from March 2 to 5.

Some of the most anticipated releases during the upcoming flagship devices at the MWC are listed below.

Sony Xperia Z4: Earlier, it was rumored that the Japanese tech manufacturer would unveil its flagship smartphone Sony Xperia Z4 at the CES 2015 last month, but it did not happen. Subsequently, there were rumors that the device will be released during the MWC 2015 instead, while some others claimed that Sony may not be releasing the smartphone during this event also. However, latest reports say that Sony has already sent out invites for its press conference at the MWC 2015 and is likely to use the event to introduce the Sony Xperia Z4.

Samsung Galaxy S6: It is expected that the South Korean tech titan Samsung will introduce its much anticipated flagship smartphone - Samsung Galaxy S6 at a press conference during the MWC 2015, possibly on March 1. The device is likely to come with a large 5.5-inch qHD screen along with Samsung's own Exynos 7420 chip and 20-megapixel camera.

Microsoft Lumia 1330: Microsoft is expected to launch its upcoming flagship smartphone - Lumia 1330 having a 5.7-inch IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen and rendering a 720 x 1280 pixels resolution (258 ppi pixel density). The device will have added protection in the form of the sturdy Corning Gorilla Glass 4. Some reports also claim that the upcoming Microsoft smartphone will also be packed with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor and it will run on Microsoft Windows Phone 8.1 operating system.

HTC One M9 or HTC Hima: Consumers having a preference for the premium features offered by HTC handsets may find the HTC One M9 worthy to purchase at the upcoming MWC 2015. It is said that the smartphone will come with a 5-inch touchscreen display, an impressive Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 chip, a 20-megapixel primary camera, in addition to an HTC UltraPixel front-facing shooter.

Huawei Ascend Mate 7: The Chinese tech manufacturer will be releasing its latest phablet, which is reported to feature a 6.0-inch IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen and be packed with a quad-core 1.8 GHz Cortex-A15. The other features of the phablet will possibly include a 16 GB internal memory with 2 GB RAM or 32 GB storage with 3 GB RAM, in addition to a microSD card slot supporting up to 128GB.
