MWC 2015 News: Sony Xperia Z4 Tablet Gets Bluetooth Keyboard
The Mobile World Congress started on Sunday and things are already looking very promising for each representing company. Today, Sony is among one of the most talked about companies as it revealed that its new tablet, the Xperia Z4, will also come with the BKB50 Bluetooth Keyboard.
The new keyboard will provide a variety of comforts to its users. It has an integrated touchpad so if a keyboard function is not required for the work users are doing, then the choice to touch navigation is available. It weighs approximately 383 grams (13 ounces) and has a dimension of 254 x 170 mm ( 10 x 6 inches).
According to Sony, features for the BKB50 Bluetooth Keyboard will also include pitch and stroke, docking detection, NFC enablement and a quick launcher for applications. Controls are a Bluetooth pairing switch, a power switch, a Micro USB connector and a supported HOGP Bluetooth provider. The new keyboard comes with a 430 mAh battery, with the battery life lasting up to one month if it were used two hours a day.
The Sony Xperia Z4 tablet has also been a highly anticipated device for the company. With the release of the keyboard, users now can experience the full comfort of a laptop without the hassle of packing something bigger and bulkier but just as functional as a laptop. The tablet weighs 393 grams (0.86 lbs.) and will have a 10.1 inch, 2K display screen.
The tablet is both Wi-Fi and LTE enabled. It will come with Google Android Lollipop 5.0 and a 2 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon, 64-bit Octa Core. Other features included are a 8.1-megapixel camera with a front-facing 5.1-mega pixel camera, a 6000 mAh battery, full HD video recording, HDR, 3 GB RAM with up to 32 GB flash memory and up to 128 GB on a microSD and Sony 3D surround sound technology.
