MWC 2015 New Device News: Four Budget-Friendly LG Phones Announced for Upcoming Event
LG unveiled that four budget smartphones will be released at the upcoming Mobile World Conference on Sunday. They are respectively called the LG Magna, LG Spirit, LG Leon, and LG Joy.
According to tech2, all four phones will have the latest version of Google's Android 5.0 Lollipop and a 1.2GHz processor.
According to The Inquirer, President and CEO of LG's mobile Juno Cho said, "LG's new mid-range collection continues our legacy of offering amazing smartphones at reasonable prices. For millions of consumers around the world, the deciding factor on which smartphone to buy isn't how fast or how big it is but how balanced it is. With our new mid-range smartphones, more and more customers will be looking to LG for their next handsets.
The LG Magna, LG Spirit and LG Leon will have 8GB of storage with 1 GB of RAM. The LG Joy will only have 4GB of storage with 512GB of RAM.
Both the LG Magna and LG Spirit will have a resolution of 720X1280 pixels while the LG Leon will have a resolution of 480X854 pixels and the LG Joy of 480X800 pixels.
Screen displays, camera megapixels and battery capacities differ from each phone. The LG Magna will have a 5 inch display, a 5x8 megapixels front and rear camera, and a 2540 mAh battery capacity. The LG Spirit will have a 4.70 inch display, a 1x8 megapixels front and rear camera, and a battery capacity of 2100mAh. The LG Leon will have a 4.5 inch display, 0.3x8-megapixels front and rear camera, and battery capacity of 1900mAh. Finally, the LG Joy will have a 4 inch display, 0.3x5-megapixels front and rear camera, and a battery capacity of 1900mAh.
Exact prices have not yet been confirmed. More information about the phones will be announced during this year's MWC in Barcelona on March 1.
