American drama television series "Mr. Robot" is about to debut in our television screens. Along the fan's burning curiosity is a bunch of news about the much-awaited series.

About the next season, Fashion and Style noted that it is a shocker due to the turn of events. Notably, the Season 1 ended with Elliot's discovery that Mr. Robot was just a "figment of his imagination." As a result, he will face struggles regarding his mental state.

Rami Malek, who plays as the lead character told TV Insider that his interaction with Mr. Robot will bring him now be different after learning the truth. Season 2 will mainly focus on his ordeal with the recent discovery.

While the release date is still under wraps, IB Times revealed that a new character is rumored to be joining the cast. Actress Grace Gummer, who is credited with her participation in "Extant" and "American Horror Story: Freak Show" is said to be portraying the role of FBI Agent Dominique DiPierro.

Meanwhile, Malek was also asked about the latest character on the show. But instead of addressing the question, he gave his opinion about the actress herself.

"I can't tell you much about her, but I do know her previously. So, we've just been texting one another and looking forward to working with each other," he told Access Hollywood. He added that Gummer is very easy to work it, funny, but professional at the same time.

The release date of "Mr. Robot" is not yet confirmed, but it is rumored to be premiered in summer 2016.
