'Mr. Robot' Season 2 Premiere Date, Trailer: Mr. Robot Not Leaving Elliot?
Elliot will continue living in his own world of multiple realities in the next season of "Mr. Robot." However, he has a much bigger problem than living in that kind of world--he no longer knows which of those realities is real.
A recent interview with actor Malik revealed some details about the upcoming installment. According to him, Elliot will keep on dealing with his hallucinations after hacking into the system of Evil Corp and causing a worldwide economic collapse. His hallucinations will include Mr. Robot, his make-believe father.
The promo for "Mr. Robot" season 2 shows Elliot being a slave to his own delusions. It is clear that Mr. Robot will keep on bugging him, and that it is even going to get worse this time, as he will compel Elliot to do something again. He will urge him to stand up and become the leader of a revolution that has just started. The promo shows that Elliot will do everything he can to get rid of Mr. Robot, but all his efforts will come to naught.
In the interview, Malik advised viewers to re-watch season 1 before watching the new episodes of the upcoming installment. He said one will not be able to afford to blink once tuned in to the new episodes, because every scene is of the essence. Because Evil Corp has already been taken down and all the main players have been disturbed, a lot of things are going to change next season.
"Mr. Robot" season 2 premieres on July 13 on the USA Network. Watch the trailer below.
