'Mozart in The Jungle' Season 3 Release Date, Premiere: Renewed By Amazon, Cast Members Travel To Europe?

The musical and comedy series "Mozart in the Jungle" Season 3 will be renewed by Amazon. The musicians, lead by Bernal's conductor character Rodrigo will be traveling to Europe for the preliminary shooting.

The filming will start later this year, reports Variety. The series is derived from Blair Tindall's memoir "Mozart in the Jungle: Sex, Drugs, and Classical Music." Amazon is said to be excited about the newly-acquired TV show. 

Head of Amazon Studio, Joe Lewis said that the show is unique in delivering comedy that "bursts with creativity and passion." "Amazon is proud to have two of the riskiest and enthralling comedy series on television today," he added.

On the other hand, Schwartzman, on behalf of fellow executive producers, Coppola and Weitz, expressed their gratitude for Amazon. "We can't wait to follow our characters through the vast world of music, whether performing on a subway platform or in the grand concert halls of Europe."

"Mozart in the Jungle" features Gael Garcia Bernal, Lola Kirke, Saffron Burrows, Malcolm McDowell, Bernadette Peters, Hannah Dunne and Schwartzman. Other actors include Mark Blum, John Miller, Malcolm McDowell, Joel Bernstein, Debra Monk, and Hannah Dune.

The series will pick up after winning two awards which are the Golden Globe for best comedy series and best actor in a comedy series for Bernal, despite the note that the show has "few viewers," TV by the number wrote. 

Details about the official release of "Mozart in the Jungle" will be announced soon. Meanwhile, Season 2 began streaming in last December.
