Motorola News: Tech Titan Launches New Smartphones: Features, Specs and Price of Moto X Play and Moto X Style

Having already launched the Moto 3rd Gen smartphone, Motorola has recently released two new variants of its flagship collection Moto X - named Moto X Play and Moto X Style. Both these handsets will be available in as many as 55 countries, counting the United States and the UK starting August.

According to IB Times, while the Moto X Play targets users who need more power from their device, the Moto X Style will aim at the fashion-conscious consumers with a dash of performance.

Motorola has claimed that currently the Moto X Style is the fastest charging phone available anywhere. The company said that the new Moto X can be charged 50 percent faster compared to Samsung flagship device, the Galaxy S6.

Both Moto X Play and Moto X Style sport impressive cameras - boasting a 21-megapixel rear camera alongside a 5-megapixel front-facing snapper. In fact, the Moto Turbo already sports a 21-megapixel rear camera, along with an inferior 2-megapixel front-facing snapper for clicking selfies.

Motorola has also claimed the camera packs are among the best powerful sensors in the industry today and they also possess the ability to beat Apple Inc.'s latest flagship device, the iPhone 6.

As for the specifications, the Moto X Play comes with a 5.5-inch, 1080 x 1920 pixels display and is powered by an excellent 3,630 mAh battery unit with long life.

It is possible to customize both Moto X Play and Moto X Style using Moto Maker. The two new devices will be available as "Pure Edition," which will run on any network anywhere.

Although the specific price tags of the devices have not been revealed yet, Motorola has hinted that both the new models will be priced between $300 and $400 - at least 40 percent cheaper compared to the iPhone 6 or Samsung Galaxy S6.

Apart from these two new smartphones, Motorola has also launched two Bluetooth headsets, the Moto Pulse and the Moto Surround. The Moto Pulse will offer 18 hours of battery life and will be available for $59.99, while the Moto Surround is a waterproof in-ear headphone with 12 hours of battery life and will cost $69.99.
