Motorola Moto X News: AT&T Rolls Out Google's Android 5.02. Lollipop Update on Devices
After countless AT&T Android devices received it first, the tech company has finally released the Android 5.02. Lollipop update for their Motorola Moto X.
It's speculated that the release was so delayed from possible bugs the system may have had, seeing that many previous devices reported many problems with the update. It could have also been partly because of Verizon's earlier release.
The new update will have users enjoying a new more user-friendly interface, with better colors, new text, and an overall more nature feel. They've also added new "downtime" and "interruption" features, allowing you better control of your notifications.
"Catch up with notifications on your lock screen and even dismiss them without unlocking. New 'Downtime' and 'Interruption' settings also allow you to decide what people and what notifications get through at times that you choose," writes Phandroid.
Along with this is a new "guest" mode and a battery saving mode, giving users overall more control and security of their device.
For Android Moto X users interested in the update:
"You can manually check for it by diving into Settings > About Phone > System Updates to pull the new firmware on your own. If it's still showing as not available, sit tight. It'll get to you soon enough," writes Phandroid.
