Moto Z, Moto Z Force Release Date, Specs: New Flagship To Arrive This Summer?
The Moto Z has been speculated to be named Droid Z in previous blogs and forums, now the company has confirmed all those rumors during the recent Lenovo Tech World. Meanwhile, the US release date for the new flagship will be this summer.
According to Tech Radar, Verizon will have first dibs on the Moto Z when the release date is announced. However, the rest of the world will get their hands on the phone by September this year.
As to the specs of the Moto Z, the report said, "It'll have a 5.5-inch display, Snapdragon 820 processor and quad HD display with a 5.5-inch display 1440 x 2560 resolution. On back is a 13MP camera, with optical image stabilization and phase-detection autofocus."
The Moto Z or Droid Z is reported to be slimmer than the Moto Force, and won't also feature a shatterproof screen and 21MP camera. For now, the phone will be painted black or gold.
Meanwhile, Trusted Reviews said that the Moto Z is one of the more impressive phones to come out so far, based on the specs and features, and the changes are much more than cosmetic, which is what the company bills when its MotoMod feature.
"There's 30-hours of battery life via the 2600mAh cell that can be replenished to the tune of 8 hours in 15 minutes," it said.
The Moto Z Force, however, is another kind of monster. Apart from the shatterproof LCD screen, there's also the 3050 mAh battery with TurboCharging capability. The company claims that the user can get 15 hours of battery life in just 15 minutes of charging.
