Motorola may be testing their newest high-end smartphone as captured by Geekbench. And with that, we might see the dawn of the Moto X handset really soon.

According to MNR Daily, the newest device has a code name of Moto XT1650 and is also named "Sheridan" internally. The devices is reported to have a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor and a MSM8996 motherboard with a clock speed of 1.59 GHz.

The phone is also reported to be already in an Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow. The phone will also be running on a 4GB of RAM. Motorolal will be having an event in New Delhi. They might reveal the phone at that event. The event is scheduled to be on May 17 and as for the release of the phone, it might be set to be available in stores come September of this year.

There is no official statement yet about the release of the phone from the company, however, there were already a couple of websites who have posted the leaked details and specs of the new Motorola device.

Also according to the site, the the customizable Moto X 2014 is now on sale. It might mean that the company and as well as the stores will try to get rid of the old models so that they could bring in the new ones a couple of months from today.
