'Mortal Kombat X' News, 'Mortal Kombat XL' Release: Latest Update Changes The Game
New details on NetherRealm Studios' "Mortal Kombat XL" DLC have surfaced and as per reports, it is set to change the face of the game with the free items.
Game creator Ed Boon said that the game changes would focus on making a more balanced and funnier experience, as cited by Game Spot. According to the publication, Boon revealed the patch details during a stream and one of them include the free in-game items.
The patch also meant that hat players can now access in-game items that were once previously accessible solely in the mobile game. As per the report, players just need to connect their WBID account and watch the skin unlock.
"Mortal Kombat X's" update includes changes in terms of armor, air attacks, wake-up attacks, and running, as per reports. According to the publication, energy cost has increased in different ways.
A case in point is the 25 energy requirement to start running, from the previous 15 energy needed. Another example is running towards an enemy, which makes the move as an offensive assault. In addition, the player's character may lose 50 energy if he is hit when running.
According to Movie News Guide, the characters' attacking abilities will also change with the new update. As per the publication, Bo Rai Cho's staff is set to have the spin cancel power against the weapons his opponents throw, in addition to the boosted move power.
"Mortal Kombat X's" newest patch was made available on Oct. 3 during the Kombat Kast.
