'Mortal Kombat X' Update: Kombat Pack 2 Feautures Familiar Characters, New Skins

Gamers are set to see familiar faces and new character skins in the forthcoming "Mortal Kombat X: Kobat Pack 2," as per the game's latest trailer.

The characters for the upcoming "Mortal Kombat X: Kobat Pack 2" DLC had been known since 2015, according to Neowin. The game trailer featured Xenomorph from the "Alien" film franchise, Leatherface from "Texas Chainsaw Massacre," Bo' Rai Cho from "Mortal Kombat: Deadly Alliance," along with a new original character named Tri-Borg.

According to iDigital Times, Tri-borg was one of the Lin Kuei ninja cyborgs like Cryax, Sektor, and Smoke; however the AI is a three in one package. As per the publication, the character is set to have varied combat skills set and the player will be the one to choose which ninja cyborg he wants to play.

With regard to their skills set, Baraka's arm claws are featured while Xenomorph eggs are planted, which leads to an attack or summoning of their kind. On the other hand, Leatherface will be demonstrating some chainsaw skills, giving him a chance to stand as one of the most terrifying characters in "Mortal Kombat X: Kombat Pack 2."

As for Bo Rai Cho, the character is set to deal his own drunken fist combat style in the game.

The game is also set to have four packs to choose from, as per Game Spot. The Brazil Pack includes Futbol Cage, Gaucho Kung Lao, and Capoeira Liu Kang's skins; the Kold War Pack features Motherland Sonya, Revolution Kano, and Tundra Sub-Zero skins; the Kold War Scorpion, which features a war-themed Scorpion skin; and the Apocalypse pack, which featured Erron Black, D'Vorah, and Takeda's skins.

"Mortal Kombat X" was initially released at E3 in 2014 and in 2015, the hit video game has been opened to Microsoft Windows PC, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and both Android and iOS devises.

"Mortal Kombat X: Kombat Pack 2" is rumored to hit stores in 2016, supporting Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and Windows PC.
