'Mortal Kombat X' News: New Characters & 100 Plus Brutalities to Feature in Game
Fans are pretty happy that the developers at NetherRealm Studios haven't been bashful about releasing more content details about their highly anticipated and upcoming 'Mortal Kombat X' title.
The gaming studio hasn't only released a new story trailer introducing some new key characters that will be joining the Outworld, but they've also attached a video showcasing some of the game's signature gruesome brutalities. The game will reportedly feature over 100 different ones.
The three new characters include Jacqueline Briggs, daughter of Jax; Takashi Takeda, son of Kenshi; and Kung Jin, descendant of Kung Lao.
The game's synopsis follows:
"Mortal Kombat X is NetherRealm Studios' next highly-anticipated installment in its legendary, critically-acclaimed fighting game franchise that propels the iconic franchise into a new generation. The game combines cinematic presentation with all new gameplay to deliver the most brutal Kombat experience ever, offering a new fully-connected experience that launches players into a persistent online contest where every fight matters in a global battle for supremacy."

'Mortal Kombat X' releases on April 14th for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and PC.
