'Mortal Kombat X' New Gameplay Trailer: Four Armed Behemoth Goro Makes Appearance [VIDEO]

The infamous fighting game franchise has finally released a full gameplay trailer for their widely anticipated 'Mortal Kombat X' title.

We get some pretty explicit footage of some of the characters in combat, such as Kitana and Kung Lao, each veterans of the series.

Judging by the trailer, the game has completely upped the ante on the violence and gore meter. This game has been famously known for its ultra-violent content from it's initial release in the '90s, but gaming visuals have come quite a way from that time. Watching a character get his face sliced in with a buzzsaw is a bit of a different experience in today's gaming standards.

"We've mentioned it in previous posts about Mortal Kombat X, but the game is really upping the ante on the disturbing visuals this time around. Kitana's Fatality may not be quite as brutal and disgusting as Scorpion's, but it is definitely not something for gamers with a weak stomach. Casual fans may think the violence is a little over the top, but the brutal finishers are one of Mortal Kombat's longstanding traditions and hardcore fans have been loving the reveals so far," Game Rants writes.

For players who can get over the squeamish parts, this game offers fans many treats, such as the return of the perceived deceased character, Goro. At the end of the trailer, the four-armed behemoth can be seen with a quote stating players who pre-order the game can acquire him. For those that don't, the character should always be available as a DLC.

The game has already introduced a couple of new characters via the trailer so the roster has seemed to prove itself impressive already.

"Mortal Kombat X" releases April 14, 2015 for PC, PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, and Xbox One.
