'Mortal Kombat X' New Character & Release News: Legendary Four-Armed Goro Added to the Roster

Mortal Kombat X has just recently released two neck-breaking trailers just a week before the game is set into the motion. Lucky gamers who have queued up to pre-order the game can get to play the 4-armed fire-breathing brute Goro to smash and beat popular game characters way ahead of everyone else.

The first guts and gore trailer made its debut on Monday straight from Mortal Kombat Community on Youtube accompanied by the rocking "Chopsuey" from System of a Down. While the other trailer exclusive for Goro's gameplay is rated as Not Safe For Work (NSFW). The official Goro trailer starts with Johnny Cage and a number of characters beaten into a pulp.

Youtube host AngryJoe had snagged an interview with Ed Boon, creator of Mortal Kombat, and dove into gritty details exposing what is expected with the game starting with the story having "more cinematic footage" and new generation of characters with history. Boon also explained the "Online Faction" dividing players into what seems to be a team-effort or clan gameplay while "Invasion" sounds like command to conquer for factions to gain victory.

When AngryJoe asks Boon about Mortal Kombat Community's question on the netcode Boon is positive towards the game's improvement for P2P servers.

"Every game we take what we learn," He says, "MK9, when we first launched it, it kinda had this vague message with connections...Also doing what we can to connect people better. Both [players] have good connections."

Weeks of game sneak peeks revealed that a number of characters are returning including Jacqueline Briggs, Johnny Cage, Raiden, Sub-Zero, Scorpion, Liu Kang, Kung Jin, Kitana, Baraka and others while there are still rumors for Rain and Sindel to be part of the lineup. The popular game will make its come back in stores on April 14, 2015.
