'Monster Hunter Generations' News, Release Date, Rumors: Gamers To Pick Up To Four Hunting Styles

A new Monster Hunter Generations trailer was recently released by Capcom and it hints that there may be a new hunting style mechanics in the game.

According to Bago Games, "Monster Hunter Generations" will let gamers pick up to four hunting styles which gives gamers a variety of moves and techniques to play around with during battle. The four styles will be the Aerial, Adept, Guild and Striker Styles.

According to Capcom-Unity, the Aerial Style or "Death from Above," is a style which gives every weapon class an Aerial Dodge or a short jump. With this jump, another monster may vault itself to the air and unleash a couple of aerial attacks. It can also be used to avoid a couple of ground attacks attempted by the opponent.

The Adept Style gives the gamers "Insta-Moves" which requires great timing and precision. Depending on the weapon at hand, the gamers can block or parry an attack and can immediately connect with a counter of its own. That move is called the "Insta-Block." There is also a move called "Insta-Evade" where gamers can get out of harm's way and then deliver a counter right after.

For the "Guild Style," it is also called the "Well-honed Tradition" it is similar to the style used in Monster Hunter 4. This is very familiar to all the enthusiasts of the game.

The Striker Style or the "Versatile Powerhouse" Their will be special moves and techniques which will build up as the strikes connects against the opposing monsters. This style can be used with a tap on the touch screen panel.

"Monster Hunter Generations" will be released for the Nintendo 3DS this summer.
