The new Metroid DLC has been released in celebration of Nintendo's iconic game franchises, as per Nintendo Life. Players can also talk to their housekeeper in-game for them to claim the items; a case in point is the Support Pack, which contains resources players can use in-battle. Other examples of in-game items included with the DLC include honey, nitroshroom, energy drink, max potion, lifepowder, healthy flute, demon flute, armore flute, huter's drink, and barrel bomb L+, among others.

According to Gamespot, the latest DLC is not the last, as more are set to come in upcoming months. As per the publication, these include content from titles like "Star Fox," "Strider," and "Fire Emblem."
