The scenery of WWE changed dramatically when road to WrestleMania XXX ended last night when the biggest PPV event in professional wrestling history took place in the Mercedes-Benz Superdome in Louisiana. The Uso's retained their WWE Tag Team championship in the pre-Wrestlemania match against The Real Americans, Ryback & Curtis Axel and Los Matadores. The Real Americans tag partners Jack Swagger and Cesaro broke up after their defeat to former WWE superstar Rikishi's twin sons. Cesaro would later win the inaugural 30-Man André the Giant Memorial Battle Royal match. The former Real American member won the match when he threw The Big Show over the top rope last night.
History was made yesterday when "The Immortal" Hulk Hogan hosted WrestleMania XXX. In addition, he had a memorable segment with Stone Cold Steve Austin and his former WrestleMania XVIII opponent: "The People's Champion" The Rock. Both Rock and Austin teased Hogan for accidently calling the Superdome the "Silverdome." Hogan's defining moment as a wrestler was when he defeated the late Andre the Giant at the aforementioned Silverdome at WrestleMania III back in 1987.
History was made yesterday when Brock Lesnar became the first man to ever defeat The Undertaker at Wrestlemania. The Undertaker was looking to extend his unprecedented undefeated streak to 22-0. However, the "Beast Incarnate" shocked the world by ending the greatest streak in professional wrestling history last night.
John Cena got his revenge on Bray Wyatt last night when he defeated the bizarre leader of the Wyatt Family. John Cena defend his "legacy" against the man who tried to end his career and reputation last night.
After Daniel Bryan defeated Triple H in an upset victory last night, he was brutally at attacked by sore loser Triple H. Bryan would later face the WWE World Heavyweight Champion "The Viper" Randy Orton and "The Animal" Dave Batista for the title instead of "The Game" at the main event triple threat match. After a grueling triple threat match against the former Evolution members, Daniel Bryan defeated both men to become the new WWE World Heavyweight Champion. Triple H and the Authority will look to crash Bryan's celebration tonight on Raw.
