"There's nothing mystical about the outcome of that football game," said Tomlin to reporters.

"We talked all week about why that team struggled: because they were minus in the turnover ratio. ... Well, they weren't today. They were plus-4. You're going to lose football games when you're minus-4 in the turnover ratio, and we did today."

Meanwhile, the Titans (2-7) is trying to halt their current three game losing streak when Tennessee hosts the Steelers on primetime television on Monday night.

Previously, the Titans lost to the Baltimore Ravens by a final score of 21-7, after Tennessee QB rookie quarterback Zach Mettenberger went 16-27 for 179 yards, highlighted by a touchdown pass and an interception while getting sacked by the Ravens omnipotent defense a whooping five times.

"They got a lot of dudes, they got a lot of studs in that front seven -- and they know it," said Mettenberger to reporters.

"Early in the first half we did a lot of good things to kind of counteract their guys. We just got to ... be able to play like that for 60 minutes."
