The Green Bay Packers will face the Atlanta Falcons on December 8 at Lambeau Field in Green Bay, Wisconsin.

The Packers (9-3) attempts to extend their current winning streak to five games, after defeating the New England Patriots by a final score of 26-21 on Sunday afternoon.

"The point total was enough to win the game," said Green Bay head coach Mike McCarthy to reporters.

"I thought (the) defense did a lot of good things, and really, I think the end of the game is what you're looking for as a coach."

Green Bay QB Aaron Rodgers also talked about the importance of protecting their home field as his team looks to have a strong run in the upcoming postseason.

"We have some big goals, and we're getting into December football now with a chance with everything right in front of us," said Rodgers to reporters.

Meanwhile, the Falcons (5-7) recently defeated the Arizona Cardinals by a score of 29-18 on November 30, a game where QB Ryan went 30-41 for 361 yards, highlighted by two touchdown passes and an interception.

Now, the Falcons are looking to extend their current winning streak to two games in their upcoming match against Green Bay.

"It's a big challenge for us this week with Aaron Rodgers. No doubt, he's playing the best of any quarterback in the NFL right now. He's got a number of weapons he can get it to," said Falcons head coach Mike Smith to reporters.

"He's played extremely well at home. I don't think he's thrown an interception at home this season, and I don't even want to talk about how many points they've scored."
