'Mobius Final Fantasy' Trailer, News: Turn-Based Combat Featured; Prestige Graphics [WATCH]
New details on the release date and gameplay of Square Enix's "Mobius Final Fantasy" have surfaced.
"Mobius Final Fantasy" is set to come out on Aug. 3, IGN has learned. As per the publication, the title is downloadable on iOS and Android. It centers on a man who awakens in a realm called Palametia; however, he does not have any memory from his past.
The protagonist becomes Palametia's hero by giving hope to the locale, with a mysterious prophecy concerning the legendary light warrior.
According to Game Spot, the title also showcases features like leveling up an power systems, which are incorporated to cards. In addition, battle is seen as direct, as foes appear in front of the players' characters and they just tap on them to attack on the turn and repeat the action several times until they die.
Just like other role-playing games, the battle set-up is turn-based; meaning, the protagonist attacks the foe and the foe retaliates an attack and so on. It is further revealed that certain higher-raking foes serve as a challenge to players.
In terms of graphics, "Mobius Final Fantasy" receives a praise. According to Android Authority, the game graphics is excellent, in addition to well played menus and decent voice acting from "Final Fantasy VI's" Yoshinori KItase and "Final Fantasy VII's" Chrono Trigger and Kazushige Nojima in the title's cutscenes.
"Mobius Final Fantasy" is set to be released for the iOS and Android on Aug. 3.
