Mobile World Congress 2015 New Devices: HTC One M9 & Samsung Galaxy S6 to Launch at MWC, LG G4 Delayed Until April

The Mobile World Congress, or MWC, of 2015 is coming in March. Many phone companies such as Samsung and HTC are expected to release their newest phones within this launch window. Another giant tech company, LG, has reported that they will wait to release the LG G4 so as to avoid the other two company's launches, according to an article from the Korea Times.

During the MWC, Samsung is going to launch its Galaxy S6 and HTC its M9. "Samsung usually releases its new flagship model in the first quarter of each year, and Apple in the second quarter. We need some in-between time to make a bigger splash," an LG source said.

Many sources agree that the wait for the LG G4 release is smart since there will be plenty of hype for Samsung's and HTC's releases. The wait has proved to be successful in past with the example of the LG G3 phone surpassing their rivals in QHD resolution in the display area of smartphones last year.

April Taylor of ITech Post said, "It's worth pointing out, however, that the LG G4 is expected to pack a Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 chip under the hood, and the processor in question is reportedly having some overheating issues." Whether this problem will delay the launch of the LG G4 is still uncertain.

Despite this little hiccup, critics and phone buyers alike anxiously await the LG G4 launch as it boasts of new features and shows that the company is not afraid to stand out from the crowd.
