Season three episode four of "Mistresses" started off emotionally with Joss, played by Jes Macallan, and Harry discussing the future of their relationship.

When Harry says, "Never in a million years, from where we started, did I think we'd end up here," and Joss asks him, "And where would you say we were?", he replies, "Happy", which leaves Joss feeling a little less than content.

She talks to her friends about her frustration with Harry's response, wondering if he was worth losing her sister over. In order to prove to Harry that he should not fear starting a relationship with her, she goes with him to look for a new house.

The pair end up deciding that maybe it's time for them to move in together, but their inability to agree on a home causes their insecurities about the relationship to flare up again.

In Episode four, entitled "Into the Woods", Calista, played by Jennifer Esposito, and Luca, portrayed by Noam Jenkins, prove why their relationship has been in trouble for so long.

The pair go out to what Calista thinks is a celebration of their ten year anniversary.

However, when Luca presents her with a necklace that he designed for his potential line, which he wants to sell under Calista's brand, she realizes that the meeting was not about honoring their anniversary, but about business.

Meanwhile, Karen suggests to Vivian that she get a makeover to cure the undesirable feelings that she has been having ever since she received her diagnosis.

When the pair smoke Vivian's medical marijuana, they have a heart to heart and Vivian invites her friend to join in a threesome with her husband, Alec.
