The Tigers (9-2) are looking to extend their winning streak to six games when they face the Arkansas Razorbacks in the "Show Me State."
"I'm very, very proud of our football team," said Missouri head coach Gary Pinkel to reporters.
"We've got a quick week, short week. We've got a big game on Friday."
The Tigers recently defeated the Tennessee Volunteers by a final score of 29-21, after QB Maty Mauk went 12-25 for 230 yards, which was highlighted by two touchdown passes on November 22.
"Everybody said we were going to lose this game, too," said Missouri defensive lineman Shane Ray to reporters.
"It doesn't look like it."
Meanwhile, the Razorbacks (6-5) are seeking to lengthen their winning streak to three games after their remarkable win versus the Ole Miss Rebels by a score of 30-0 this past Saturday.
Arkansas won despite their QB Brandon Allen going 5-10 for only 87 yards with a touchdown in the victory against their aforementioned SEC West divisional foe.
"We just kept the faith," said Arkansas defensive end Trey Flowers to reporters.
"We believed that we were going through what we were going through for a purpose."
Razorbacks head coach Bret Bielema revealed his thoughts concerning his team's latest winning streak against formidable squads.
"I mean, we won two games, but everybody forgets, one was ranked 17 and the other was ranked 8," said Bielema to reporters.
"These are good teams we're beating. We're not just beating people."
