'Mirror's Edge Catalyst' Release Date: New Trailer Seen Dynamic & Dramatic? Beta Sign-Up Opened, EA Account Required

Aside from its new trailer, "Mirror's Edge Catalyst" beta sign-up has been opened.

According to the official "Mirror's Edge Catalyst" website, players can now don Faith's shoes and run towards the completion of the May 24 release. It is also noted that "Mirror's Edge Catalyst" will be accepting sign-ups for the game's closed beta and it started on Feb. 4.

As per Christian Post, a player signs up with his Electronic Arts account on "Mirror's Edge Catalyst" website. Then, he is going to wait for an official confirmation if he has been chosen to be part of the close beta. Thus, players should take note that not all who sign up for an account will surely be included to the beta. No details regarding selection process have been revealed.

In line with the game's release, Mirror's Edge has released the trailer for the the game's storyline and it is entitled "I Am Faith." It features details from Faith's backstory and it promises a blend of drama and action. "I'm not broken," Faith says. Along with her, the character proves that she is not with the player.

Players can also become "Mirror's Edge Catalyst" frontrunner via subscription to EA's newsletter and secure an access to exclusive content, prodigious in-game rewards, as well as e-mails containing updates from the "Mirror's Edge Catalyst" realm and other EA games, services, and events.

To sign up for the beta, a player needs to have an EA account. Players who are interested to sign up for the beta may sign-up here.

The "Mirror's Edge Catalyst" closed beta is set to be accessible for PlayStation 4, PC (Origin), and Xbox One. The game is set to be released on May 24.
