Country musicians Blake Shelton and wife and singer Miranda Lambert have reportedly split up recently and despite the highly private matters, reports have just recently confirmed that Shelton have just filed for divorce and the married couple have also released a joint statement asking for privacy.

"We are real people, with real lives, with real families, friends and colleagues. Therefore, we kindly ask for privacy and compassion concerning this very personal matter." Shelton and Lambert both said in a joint statement.

So as the two married couple won't give out any details, several sources however are speaking up claiming that the two have split because of their work and their time apart from each other.

"Their busy schedules were a big issue for them. They both worked a lot and had to spend a lot of time apart. The less time they spent together, the more they grew apart," a source told E! News recently.

Apparently, both are busy in their careers with Lambert currently on tour and when they are apart, cheating rumors have reportedly played a major role in their disagreements. "Trust was an issue for both of them. It went along with having to spend a lot of time apart. Rumors of infidelity put stress on them. Despite denials, even just rumors of cheating are still hard to hear," the source continued.

This is indeed a difficult time for both but what recent people are talking about is Lambert who was said to be "doing the best she can at the moment and trying to process everything."

While another source claims that despite the struggle, "She is strong and will come out of this stronger," adding, "She is focusing on her music, family and friends." There are no further statements from the married couple to confirm or deny previous claims about the reason why the two are divorcing.

Shelton and Lambert have no children together and have been married since 2011.
