'Minions' New Movie Trailer: Second Teaser Released by Illumination Entertainment [VIDEO]

Fans of 'Despicable Me' were excited to learn that the upcoming 'Minions' movie has a newly released trailer from production company Illumination Entertainment.

The trailer begins with three minions, Stuart, Kevin and Bob, who are seen hitchhiking to Orlando. Set in 1968, the minions were trying to make it to VillainCon, the world's biggest gathering of bad guys. The minions are seen hunting for jobs, and end up with Scarlett Overkill, a villainess.

The movie will be a prequel to the films that introduced the minions to the audience, "Despicable Me' and "Despicable Me 2'. The animated movie will have voices of Sandra Bullock, Jon Hamm, Michael Keaton, Alison Janney, and Steve Coogan, according to The Daily Mail.

Chris Meledandri, the producer and the head of the animation studio of Illumination, said, "Scarlet Overkill has fantastic hair, wears great clothes and has a lethal uppercut. When we turn her loose on the world, she is going to come out standing on top." Scarlett is voiced by Bullock.

"Scarlet is an unusual supervillain," said co-director Pierre Coffin, "She is a dangerously charming woman, which could not have been easy in the late 1960s. Scarlet has all the gadgetry and accoutrements of villainy," Melendandri added. "But underneath there's a character you cannot help but fall in love with," according to the Latino Post.

Speaking about Bullock's role, Meledandri said, "This is a side to Sandra Bullock we haven't seen before She is really enjoying playing with this villainy."
