‘Minecraft’ VR News: Upcoming Title Coming On Oculus Rift

A report from Tech Crunch said that the "Minecraft VR" was initially announced to be released with the launch of the 0.15.6 version of the Windows 10 Edition beta, but the schedule has changed and it will be out next week instead.

"Minecraft" is one of the most popular titles in the game today. In June, it was reported that sales already surpassed the 100 million mark.

Of course, you will need to have the Oculus Rift, which is priced about $600, in order to play "Minecraft VR." The game was actually released earlier for the Samsung Gear VR. If you don't own the Oculus headset, now is the time to order since shipment is reportedly back to normal after a bit of a delay due to the large number of pre-orders.

The news about the "Minecraft" VR was earlier confirmed by the Windows blog after unveiling the technical support for game on the Oculus Rift, the Windows 10 Edition beta. Accordingly, since last month, the company already resolved about 6,000 bugs and released 12,000 code check-ins.

"To thank you for your continued support over the last year, Oculus Rift support to the Windows 10 Edition Beta will launch in the next few weeks in a free update," the blog said. "If you already own Windows 10 Edition and an Oculus Rift, you can jump right in and start experiencing Minecraft in a whole new way."
