It is said to be Rusty Edward Sellner, who had previous cases of burglary, that pleaded No Contest for breaking into the singer's mansion and allegedly stealing some of the star's belongings. Sellner is charged with one count apiece of first-degree residential burglary which will have him sentenced to two years in state prison if convicted.
Meanwhile, Sellner, who broke in at Cyrus' home last December 16, 2014 also faces two prior convictions in Ventura County for burglary and evading arrest which he will then face for a maximum sentence of seven years and eight months if convicted.
So it is quite definite that the burglar who broke into Cyrus' home was experienced but this time, he got caught and has already attended a preliminary hearing last January 20, 2015. Meanwhile, last February 11, 2015, Sellner pleaded no contest and according to the L.A. Cyrus and her family are still silent on the matter and have not released their official statement following the latest development of their case. Their house was previously burgled twice before and now the mansion has been listen on the market.
Although there are still no buyers, the mansion remains to be the property of the Cyrus family. Reportedly, the pop singer has not lived at the mansion ever since they got a hold of the property.
