Miley Cyrus News: Family Toluca Lake Mansion Put up For Sale by Billy Ray & Leticia Cyrus

Miley Cyrus' family home in Toluca lake has been put up for sale by her parents, Billy Ray Cyrus and Leticia Cyrus, according Hollywood Houses.

As it stands, the house has been listed at $5.995 million. The house was originally bought for $5.838 million in May, 2007. According to speculations, the couple has decided to sell the family house because of the losses it ran into, after the release of the hip-hop version of his catchy 1992 hit "Achy Breaky Heart" along with a downright weird video, last year.

The walled and gated estate, which spans more than 8,700 square feet, is a 8,700 square feet designed by Montecito architect Bob Easton. The house has a security system with plenty of cameras to ensure ultimate privacy, according to The Huffington Post.

While the house seems every bit fancy, it doesn't look all that secure. The house was broken into at least twice in 2014 and once this year, and items that have been stolen include Miley's jewelry, handbags, and her 2014 Maserati Quattroporte, according to Elle Décor.

And in recent news, another burglar managed to fool the security system and make his way into the house. A man named Rusty Edward Sellner was arrested and charged with felony first-degree residential burglary earlier this month, to which he pleaded not guilty, according to Hello Magazine.

The neighbors are not so sorry to see them go. One of the neighbors, comedian Steve Carell, speaking on the family moving, said, "He always gives me the stank-eye because I drive so fast," according to Rolling Stone.
