Lumia 650 Specs, Review: Mid-Range Smartphone With Powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon 210 Chip
Microsoft is pleased to announce the new Lumia 650 but apparently, it will be the last Lumia product for 2016, or maybe even ever. As they retire their Lumia products, we might witness the rise of the new Surface Phone.
It was reported that Microsoft will be shifting to Surface Phone in the near future. The launch of the Lumia smart phone will not be as grand as the other smart phones launched by top mobile phone companies.
The Lumia phone has helped Microsoft through out the years in being competitive in the smart phone business, a business dominated by Apple IOS and Android phones.
BlackBerry, Microsoft, Palm and Nokia were the ones dominating the smart phone business before the very first i-Phone launched in 2007 and the first ever Android smart phone in 2008.
Microsoft had a few successes with their Surface devices and will look forward to capitalizing on the opportunity. They would be releasing a Surface Phone in the near future, something that might bring even better reviews and revenues than the Lumia phones.
According to Tech Times, The upcoming Microsoft Lumia 650 will be a mid-range smartphone. It will have a conservative 5-inch 720p display but will be ran by a powerful quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 210 chip and 1 GB of RAM.
The Lumia 650 will have an 8-megapixel camera at the back and a 5-megapixel camera at the front part and will have an internal storage of 8 GB. Users can acquire more memory space through a microSD slot. The Lumia 650 will be ran by a battery with 2,000 mAh.
