Michael Schumacher Condition Update News: F1 Driver On Road To Recovery, Wife Gives Fans Hope
Recent reports checking up on Schumacher's progress have been delightfully positive, as they say that the legendary racer is getting stronger by the day. Following the Formula 1 racer's six month coma, Schumacher is currently recovering in a private clinic, located close to his home in Switzerland.
The accident that put him in peril in the first place, occurred in France when he was skiing down an unauthorized slope and seriously injured his head.
The injury was so severe that the racer had to undergo two brain surgeries, as doctors and surgeons had to combat the blood clots. The only official word from doctors was that they were forced to induce a coma upon him to keep him alive.
Six months after that, Schumacher woke up from his coma and underwent several tests to see if he was ready to be transferred to a new facility. Grenoble gave the green light and transported the F1 legend to Lausanne for further recovery.
Michael Schumacher's family has asked for privacy and discretion about the matter, as they reluctantly reveal any new information to the press. However, recent reports caught sight of Corinna (his wife), in Switzerland where she gave raise to fan hopes over the racer's road to full recovery.
F1 legend Schumacher retired from racing two years ago, after winning 5 championship titles consecutively from 2000 to 2004.
