The Miami Heat will go head-to-head with the Portland Trail Blazers on January 8 at the Moda Center at the Rose Quarter in Portland, Oregon.

The game will begin at 10:30 pm ET and can be viewed online through live stream via the link provided below (free for subscribers).

The Trail Blazers (27-8) look to defend their home court and lengthen their winning streak to two games when they face the Heat at the Moda Center.

Previously, Portland defeated the Los Angeles Lakers by a score of 98-94 on Monday night after Trail Blazers Damian Lillard scored 39 points in order to ignite his squad in the nail-biting victory.

"I don't live for it, but I would like us to play with the type of urgency we did for the last eight minutes for the entire game. But when it's needed, I'm definitely not going to shy away from it," said Lillard to reporters.

Trail Blazers head coach Terry Stotts discussed his thoughts regarding his shooting guard (Wesley Matthews) injuring his left knee in the first quarter versus the Lakers.

"I told him he scared me, because he did," said Stotts to reporters.

"I was shocked to see him come back. I'm no doctor, but it didn't look good."

Meanwhile, the Heat (15-20) will try to lengthen their winning streak to two games when they battle the Trail Blazers on Thursday night.

Previously, Miami defeated the Brooklyn Nets by a score of 88-84 on January 8 after Heat center Chris Bosh scored 26 points in order to propel his team to the home victory.

"A must-win," said Bosh to reporters.

"It didn't matter who we played."
