The Heat (9-9) attempts to halt their current two game losing streak when they battle the Bucks on Friday night.
"We have to figure it out," said Heat coach Erik Spoelstra to reporters.
"We just have to get to work. That is the only solution. The solution is in the locker room and that's what it's about right now."
Miami recently lost to their Southeast division rival, the Atlanta Hawks by a final score of 112-102 on December 3 after Heat's center Chris Bosh had 27 points, 11 rebounds and one block in a losing effort.
"The effort is there," said Bosh's longtime teammate Dwyane Wade to reporters.
"It's a little frustrating whenever you a ballgame, even more when you lose at home. ... The only thing we can do now is come back in tomorrow and try to figure out a way to right our wrong."
Meanwhile, the Bucks (10-10) are looking to prevent a possible four game losing streak when they defend their home court against the reigning Eastern Conference Champions at the BMO Harris Bradley Center.
The Bucks recently lost to the Dallas Mavericks by a final score of 107-105 after Milwaukee point guard Brandon Knight scored 25 points in the loss on Wednesday night.
Milwaukee head coach Jason Kidd reflected on his team's recent loss after Mavericks' Monta Ellis hit the game winning shot as the time expired in the aforementioned game.
"[He] made a tough shot. Walk or not a walk, they counted the basket. It didn't come down to just that last shot. We made some mistakes leading up to that," said Kidd to reporters in reference Ellis' buzzer beater shot versus the Bucks.
The game will start at 8:30 pm ET and it can be watched on the NBA League Pass network or online through live stream by clicking here.
