'MI: 5' New Trailer News: Official 'Mission: Impossible Rogue Nation' Teaser [VIDEO]

Paramount Pictures has released the very first trailer of the upcoming movie, "Mission Impossible 5,' with the film's official title being "Mission: Impossible - Rogue Nation.'

The trailer, which is about a minute long, shows the lead of the movie Tom Cruise as IMF agent Ethan Hunt, joined by his teammates Simon Pegg and Jeremy Renner, who also starred in the previous edition of the movie, "Mission: Impossible Ghost Protocol.'

Cruise tweeted about the release of the very first trailer, saying, "I'm excited to share the first footage for Mission: Impossible Rogue Nation with you. #MissionImpossible http://t.co/cLpzKq6VXV."

The movie will be directed by Christopher McQuarrie and produced by J. J. Abrams, and David Ellison of Skydance Productions. The cast also includes Alec Baldwin, Rebecca Ferguson, and Sean Harris. The movie is scheduled to release on July 31, 2015.

The synopsis of the movie is as follows: "Ethan and team take on their most impossible mission yet, eradicating the Syndicate - an International rogue organization as highly skilled as they are, committed to destroying the IMF," according to Deadline.

On a side note, the movie's name is similar to the upcoming Star Wars movie, "Rogue One,' which will be releasing on Dec. 16, 2016.

Reportedly, Paramount Pictures registered and cleared the title with the Motion Picture Association of America in January, well before Walt Disney chairman-CEO Robert Iger announced the name of the Star Wars spinoff at a shareholder meeting earlier this month, according to the Hollywood Reporter.

Sources say that two studios worked out a deal whereby Disney will refrain from referring to "Rogue One' this summer in any promotional materials aimed at the general consumer.
