Metal Gear Solid 5: Phantom Pain Release Date, Gameplay Demo: New Trailer Video Released

Metal Gear Solid game director Hideo Kojima may have hinted at the release date of the new MGS V: Phantom Pain game. The game will be coming out for the PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, Xbox One.

Kojima has said that he was busy recording the voices for the upcoming game, and usually this process takes a long time to be completed, especially for Metal Gear Solid which is known for its long cut scenes and character dialogues. This however, has hinted that maybe the game is in its final processes and may come out soon.

The game company, Konami Digital Entertainment has yet to announce an official release date for Metal Gear Solid V: Phantom Pain. In place of this, the company has shown what the new game looks like and what the main story line would look like.

Attendees to the 2014 E3 (Electronic Entertainment Expo) were treated to a 30-minute gameplay demonstration. The title sports new elements and features such as a dynamic weather system, an open-world setting and new moves for protagonist Snake.

One of the main features that is unique to Phantom Pains is the enhancement of the previous game, Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker's Mother Base. Snake can now walk around the base, adding a more army-building component to the game.

Snake can interact with animals, people, soldiers and objects that were brought back using the Fulton System. Finally, Mother Base can now be attacked by enemies at any time, keeping the players on high alert.

While there is no official release date, the game can be expected sometime later this year.
