Along with a new DLC upcoming, "Metal Gear Online" Deal is also set to have new maps and survival mode, among others, according to latest reports.

Konami confirmed that "Metal Gear Online" is going to be supported with a new DLC, according to Movie News Guide. As per the publication, it has been announced that the game is set to feature new maps and survival mode, along with new features that will be revealed in the future.

The "Metal Gear Online" crew members tweeted the updates on Dec. 17. They wrote, "New DLC planned for MGO, including new maps, Survival, and more! Further details to come."

The announcement delighted and hyped many fans. Twitter user @rommel_bboyboy wrote that Konami's "Metal Gear Online" crew members were really listening to the people. He also tweeted "Thank you so much for doing all you can."

Twitter user Fahad Almutairi tweeted that it was the best decision "Metal Gear Online" had made so far.

Another user, NoMoreOcelots, wrote on Twitter that he was hyped so much and could not wait.

Previous reports added that earlier versions of "Metal Gear Online" included Survival matches, which provided gamers a different kind of gameplay. The aforementioned game versions allowed players to have Reward points, which are based on their match win streaks in each round.

In December 2015, Konami reportedly announced that Kojima Productions LA Studio was being close, leaving many fans curious on the video game's future, according to IGN. However, Konami Productions recently disclosed in the official "Metal Gear Online" account that a new DLC is still coming for the popular video game, as per Christian Post.

Konami has released a "Metal Gear Online" patch 1.02, allowing players to level up their characters more easily, provided that they have the necessary amount of XP, and also some fix to some bugs in the game.

Meanwhile, "Metal Gear Online" PC version release date on Steam is yet to be revealed.
