Mel B News: Singer Hints at Possible Reunion of Spice Girls During Coachella
Melanie Brown, also known as Mel B, is of the view that the Spice Girls ought to reunite and, if this really happens, kids from the '90s would definitely love it.
Christian Today reports that appearing on 'Tonight Show' with Jimmy Fallon and also in 'Today Show,' the singer gave hints regarding the possibility of the British all-girl pop group getting back together again.
Quoting a report in Gossip Cop, the website reports that Brown was promoting 'America's Got Talent' Season 10, wherein she will be a judge, and Fallon had to simply ask the singer about the prospects of the reunion.
Subesequently, Mel B, who is also known as Scary Spice, revealed that her daughter persisted that a reunion should happen and it should take place during Coachella.
When asked why they chose Coachella, the 40-year-old signing sensation said that she wasn't sure about it, but she confessed that she really wanted the group to be back together.
A report in Mirror quotes the singer saying, "When you say it's our 20th anniversary, it makes you think oh gosh it really has been that long."
At the same time, Mel B said that she's hopeful that the group will get together to celebrate the twenty years since their debut single "Wannabe" became a major hit throughout the world.
The 'America's Got Talent' judge further revealed that although she hopes and plans to have a reunion, she is not sure if the remaining members of the Spice Girls are also eager to get to gether again.
She said, "Everyone has taken their own path in certain areas of the entertainment world. We like each other and I think that's the most important part."
