NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Five-time GRAMMY-nominated Christian artist and songwriter Matthew West secures six GMA Dove Award nominations, recognizing his achievements as both an artist and songwriter. West earns nominations as a songwriter for Pop/Contemporary Recorded Song of the Year for Anne Wilson's "Strong,” Pop/Contemporary Recorded Song of the Year for CAIN's “Any More,” Bluegrass/Country/Roots Recorded Song of the Year for Anne Wilson's "Praying Woman" (with Lainey Wilson) and Bluegrass/Country/Roots Recorded Song of the Year for Rhett Walker's “Man On The Middle Cross.” West also earns two nominations as an artist for Christmas Recorded Song of the Year for “Because of Bethlehem” and Long Form Video of the Year for “Come Home For Christmas.” The Awards will take place on Tuesday, Oct. 1 at the Allen Arena in Nashville, Tenn. and will air exclusively on TBN and TBN+ and simulcast on SiriusXM The Message on Friday, October 4 at 8 p.m. and 10 p.m. ET.

“It's always an honor to be recognized by the GMA,” shared West. “This year, a lot of songs I've written with other artists behind the scenes are being recognized, which is so cool. I love that in addition to making my own records, I get the opportunity to partner with so many talented artists like Anne Wilson, Lainey Wilson, Cain, Rhett Walker and many others who are also being recognized this year, and I'll be there cheering them on!”

Just last week, West notched No. 1 on the Billboard Christian Airplay chart with his inspirational track, “Don't Stop Praying.” The achievement tied West with TobyMac for the most No. 1s among soloists on the 2003-launched ranking. The moving song holds steady at No. 1 this week and remains in the Top 5 on Billboard's Monitored AC and Hot Christian Songs charts.

This fall, West sets his sights on the road for his headlining Don't Stop Praying Tour in partnership with Awakening Events. The tour will span across 17 cities nationwide this fall and winter. Already seeing sellouts, West prepares to take his music to fans across the country inspired by his Christian radio single “Don't Stop Praying.” Tickets are on sale now at matthewwest.com/tour.

A seven-time author, West has notched 34 No. 1 songs as an artist and songwriter combined and has received five GRAMMY nominations and a Primetime Emmy® Award nomination. He awaits the fall tour to continue sharing his music's encouraging message nationwide.
