Are Taylor Swift and Matthew Gray Gubler of Criminal Minds dating? Fans of the "Red" writer believe a couple pictures, posted online recently by Swift and her new alleged flame, may be the first glimpse of the new couple.

Self-proclaimed patriot Taylor Swift loves the 4^th of July holiday. She even had some of her "Red" tour mates come join her for an Independence Day bash at her $17 million Rhode Island estate. In some of the pics, Swift has matching U.S.A. painted on her face.

Here's the twist. Gubler posted a separate photo on his Twitter with the same face paint on both cheeks. Both Swift and Gubler also posted photos of themselves playing with sparklers. Though there are no photos of Swift and Gubler together, a few other details are quite interesting.

1. Swift has posted pictures of her new house before; including snaps of the kitchen. In Guber's photo, he's standing in what looks like a kitchen, in front of what looks like cabinets that match those in several of Swift's photos. Just coincidence or was Gubler actually in Taylor Swift's Rhode Island kitchen; possible whipping up a snack?

2. What could be more of a dead giveaway, Gubler reportedly prepped his 4^th of July holiday with this tweet: "next stop New England" on July 3.

Though a source close to the couple says the two are only friends, Swift fans know better. Could Taylor really be in love or working on a new album?
