'Mass Effect: Andromeda' Release Date News, Rumors: Game’s Arrival Gets Postponed
New details on the release date of BioWare's "Mass Effect: Andromeda" have surfaced and as per reports, players might not see the game this year.
"Mass Effect: Andromeda" might come out on a date outside the players' expectations. In his interview with Game Spot, Electronic Arts CFO Blake Jorgensen revealed that Electronic Arts would postpone the game's release to make it better. He said that right now, "Mass Effect was tracking extremely well, adding that the game looked beautiful and that they were really pleased with its progress.
"As you've seen, we are willing to make moves in launch dates if we feel it's necessary to deliver the right player experience," Jorgensen said. As per the CFO, the delay in the game's release date could be three to five months if needed.
Electronic Arts planned to release "Mass Effect: Andromeda" in 2016, as per reports; however BioWare revealed in a statement, as cited by Game Spot, that it needed the right amount of time to make sure that it delivered everything the game could be and can be.
While Amazon enlists "Mass Effect: Andromeda" for a Mar. 21, 2017 launch date, from a January release rumors; BioWare and Electronic Arts are yet to confirm the final timeline. In line with the game, "Andromeda" is set to see both male and female characters share the same universe, not to mention that they are siblings. In addition, players may expect a brand new adventure exploring the outer region of the Milky Way.
Developed by BioWare, "Mass Effect: Andromeda" is set to be released for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Microsoft Windows in Mar. 2017.
