'Mass Effect: Andromeda' Release Date News: Game Release Delayed? Set For November 2017 Launch
In line with lead writer Chris Schlerf's departure from Bioware, it has been revealed that "Mass Effect: Andromeda's" is set to be released in the last quarter of 2017.
According to Christian Today, "Mass Effect: Andromeda" is going to be released in November 2017, after Schlerf left Bioware.
On Feb. 15, Schlerf wrote on Twitter that he was longer working on "Mass Effect: Andromeda" at Bioware Montreal, which confirmed rumors people had several months ago. He also mentioned that he was incredibly grateful to have worked with talented and truly wonderful human beings in the company.
Bioware is currently in search for someone who will fill in the shoes Schlerf's shoes, along with other personnel. According to Express UK, a full description said that the "Mass Effect" team is looking to add another team player to the design department for the next "Mass Effect" title, adding that the role would center on the foundation and execution of gold standards for shooting mechanics, AI, physics, camera, in addition to combat and control aspects
It has been added that "Mass Effect 3" was the highest rated game in 2012 with its 17 perfect critical review scores. Also, "Mass Effect 2" stood as the highest rated role-playing game of all time.
The details with regard to "Mass Effect: Andromeda" gameplay are limited for the time being. Reports claim that Commander Shepard would no longer lead the mission, which left fans to speculate that plays are going to be taken in the "uncharted regions" of the outer space.
The game is also set to feature bigger realms for players to explore, in addition to new alien species to be encountered.
