'Mass Effect 4' Release Date, Platform Rumors: Game To Launch on PS4 & Xbox One, Not on Xbox 360 or PS3
As the release date of 'Mass Effect 4' is rumored to be in 2015, reports speculate that it will only be released on new generation consoles leaving out PlayStation 3 or Xbox 360 users. This means that gamers will have to have a PlayStation 4 or Xbox One, if they want to play the fourth game in the series.
Although unconfirmed, several reports already see it as a huge possibility since a certain "insider" reportedly claimed that the 'Dragon Age: Inquisition' game will be the last cross-generation BioWare game and so 'Mass Effect 4' will attempt to pull gamers into a new era with next-generation consoles.
But the game's creator, BioWare has not officially confirmed or denied the rumors so it is still too early to say for certain and there may still be hope for last-generation consoles users. Meanwhile, with all the online traffic about 'Mass Effect 4', gamers have also been anxious about the release date of the game.
It has been previously rumored that the game will be released in 2015 three years after BioWare released 'Mass Effect 3'. Until now, there is still no official word from BioWare, but some reports suggest that it is also possible for the game to be released exactly during the holidays as more people would be eager to buy it during the holiday season.
The game's storyline has also been the center of talks lately. In the previous presentation of the company during the E3 conference, it has been explained that the game will feature an entirely new universe focusing on exploration.
Fans hope that 'Mass Effect 4' will be better than the previous game released, 'Mass Effect 3', which most reviews say it rather poor. The upcoming fourth game of the series is highly anticipated to have a better story and an even better conclusion because if that's the case, then it's surely going to be a hit when it releases.
