Gospel Singer Marvin Sapp’s Stalker Dr Teleka Patrick Reported Missing (Video)
Doctor Teleka Patrick is missing, and just three months prior, award winning Gospel singer Marvin Sapp filed a restraining order against the Kalamazoo MD.
Woodtv revealed a statement from a Personal Protection Order request issued by the singer stating his concerns and why he is taking it to the courts.
"She has moved from CA to MI," Sapp wrote in part in the PPO request. "Joined my church, contacts my children, and has been to my home."
He added that Patrick's stalking had gone on for at least a year prior to her moving to Michigan.
The young doctor was reported missing when she did not show up for work on December 6. Surveillance footage showed her the night before failing to check into a room at a Radisson hotel located five minutes away from her apartment. Surveillance footage at the hotel showed her trying to secure a room with cash, but not having enough money.
Sapp provided this statement on his website:
"Throughout my career, my family and I have fallen victim to inappropriate attempts to contact me by several unknown individuals. As a father of three and pastor of one of the largest congregations in West Michigan, I cannot to take this kind of obsessive attention lightly. Given these previous acts, I have taken several security measures which have included obtaining a protective order to ensure our safety. Not only am I concerned about my family, I am deeply concerned about the well-being of all families. My prayers of love, safety, reconciliation and support are always and forever with God's children."
Patrick, 30, was last seen the night of Dec. 5 when she was dropped off by the hotel shuttle service at her car in the Borgess Medical Center parking lot. That car was later found abandoned in Indiana.

Patrick's parents, Mattahais and Irene Patrick provided this statement after a Target 8's story aired stating their pain and confusion on all the information that has come out since the disappearance of their daughter.
"Regardless of Teleka's emotional state, we believe wholeheartedly that she has encountered some harm or danger. It is unlike her to go any significant length of time without any contact with family or friends," they said.
