Marvel's 'Daredevil' New Trailer News: Second Netflix Official Series Teaser Launched [VIDEO]

Tuesday, Netflix released its second trailer for the highly anticipated Marvel's "Daredevil" series. Based on the character created by comic book legends Stan Lee and Bill Everett, the show will follow Matt Murdock, a New York attorney, who decides that fighting crime by the rulebook will not bring justice.

He puts his training to the test and becomes a masked vigilante by night, bringing justice to those who would have escaped if he were to try and catch him with the law on his side.

According to Pink is the New Blog, this trailer was actually the first official one. Netflix reports that the first trailer released a week or two ago was not official, but the company is excited that it received a lot of hype, furthering their decision to release the other trailer shown on Tuesday.

"Daredevil" will be gritty, dark and brutal series as the trailer teases that the episodes will tell Murdock's origin story as well as develop relationships with other characters as well as tracking down the murderous villain Wilson Fisk aka Kingpin.

In the trailer Murdock said, "I used to dream what it would be like far away from Hell's Kitchen. But the city...it's in my blood. And I would do anything to make it a better place."

The cast includes Charlie Fox as Matt Murdock, Vincent D'Onofrio as Fisk, Deborah Ann Woll as love interest Karen page, Elden Henson as Foggy Nelson and Rosario Dawson as Claire Temple.

According to Rolling Stone, Daredevil begins Marvel's new Defenders franchise which will also include a few Netflix series based around Marvel characters Luke Cage, Jessica Jones and Iron Fist.

The first season of "Daredevil" will arrive on Netflix on April 10, and all 13 episodes will be available.
