Before the next episode of Marvel's 'Agent Carter' airs on January 27, fans can discover what will happen to Agent Peggy Carter after the summary for the future episode was recently released online.

Marvel's 'Agent Carter' will air Tuesdays at 9:00 pm ET and can be watched online through live stream via the link provided below.

"Peggy may be in more trouble than usual when fugitive Howard Stark suddenly returns for mysterious reasons. And Chief Dooley chases a new clue all the way to Europe that threatens to destroy Peggy's future at the SSR...," according to the official synopsis for Episode 4.

In the upcoming episode, it is rumored that Peggy might get betrayed by Howard Stark (aka the father of Tony Stark/Iron Man), the founder of the famed Stark Enterprise.

"There may be reasons why he reached out to her at the beginning that he was not entirely truthful about. What he really wants and what really happened that night [when Stark's 'bad babies' were stolen], and what he's been accused of, all comes to a boil...A very big secret will come out," said Agent Carter Co-Executive Producer Jeph Loeb to TVLine.

"James [D'Arcy, who plays Edwin Jarvis] was very accurate where he said [at TCA] that people probably watched the first two episodes and thought, 'This is the Go Get the Gadget of the Week Show.' And then we found all the gadgets. So now what happens?"

Series Michele Fazekas echoed his colleague's sentiments regarding the future episode starring Captain America's former love interest.  

"I think if you thought the show was going to be finding Howard Stark's tech every week, we found them! We found it all [in the last episode]. So now it's like who was behind it and what is their real goal? So now we really get into it. The episode that airs in next, you find out what Howard Stark's agenda is - Peggy finds out what it is. But it's like, okay, we put that part aside. That's only a symptom of a larger problem," said Fazekas to IGN in a recent interview.

"For Peggy, the stakes have gotten raised in a big way. But then, episode four flips it all again. We're constantly flipping what's happening and what her goal is so when she finds out what Howard is up to, that's a big deal for her."
