Before the series premiere of Marvel's 'Agent Carter', fans can discover what will happen to the vintage heroine as the synopsis of the drama series was recently leaked online.

Marvel's 'Agent Carter' will air Tuesdays at 8:00 pm ET and can be watched online through live stream via the link provided below.

"In the episode 'Now is Not the End', Peggy is contacted by old acquaintance Howard Stark (Dominic Cooper, Marvel's 'Captain America: The First Avenger') when he is framed for unleashing his deadliest weapons and can trust no one else. To help Peggy clear Stark's name, he insists his butler, Edwin Jarvis, be at her beck and call--whether she likes it or not. But the risk is great: If caught, Agent Carter could be targeted as a traitor and spend the rest of her days in prison...or worse," according to the series premiere summary released by Marvel.

In the pilot episode, Peggy is still dealing with the absence of the 'First Avenger' Captain America in a post-World War II era (1946), who she mistakenly believes is dead.

"Well, this is one of the beauties of this show and how it grows through the season. It's only been a year and she's grieving him and I think what keeps her going is he was the greatest person she ever knew - even before he took the serum and became Captain America. She knew his character and she saw a kindred spirit in him," said actress Hayley Atwell to IGN regarding her character's mindset in the new series.

"So I think she's grieving the loss of him but she's also determined to make sure that his work wasn't in vain. That gives her a tremendous amount of determination to carry on despite the obstacles that she comes across. You see the personal struggles and the sacrifices that she had to make and you see her grief and that's wonderful because you see the vulnerable side of Peggy. She becomes infinitely more relatable and more human because of that."

After the series premiere episode, ABC will immediately air another episode titled "Bridge and Tunnel" on the same night.

"In the episode 'Bridge and Tunnel,' Howard Stark's deadliest weapon has fallen into enemy hands, and only Agent Carter can recover it. But can she do so before her undercover mission is discovered by SSR Chief Dooley and Agent Thompson," according to the second episode official outline released by Marvel.
